Learning is the name of the game
This morning I finished up the first draft of my finding aid for the Arts Administration Collection. My advisor looked it over and made some notes for me to correct. We also went over it and discussed some of the issues that she pointed out that needed to be addressed in the finding aid. I was able to go back and clean up most of the problems today, normalizing some dates and cleaning up folder list. I still have a bit more work on cleaning up the folder list and then resubmit it to Dina for approval, which she will then send to the head of the archives Phil Bantin for his approval and that will officially end my work on the collection. I did have a bit of an oversight when I did some processing. There were folders that I should have looked at and luckily Dina had me check because there were SSNs and student grades in some a number of the files. Because of a large portion of this collection are student files we chose to restrict the student files but left them part of the collection. The internship is a learning experience and this oversight is something I have learned from. I will be sure to check files that potentially have personal information in them in the future.

Hey! The same thing happened to me! I learned a lot going back through after comments were made!
